We’re looking for a part-time, experienced Program Director, based in the greater metropolitan Washington, DC area, to manage and a lead a high-profile healthcare transformation effort focused on developing a culture of continuous measurement, learning and improvement for a large federal government client. Working from the client site and your home office, you’ll collaborate closely with our team of experts and the client’s leadership team to map out and support the execution of key initiatives to improve to improve teamwork, patient safety and operations. This includes ensuring that project deliverables are coordinated, on-track and on time, while effective relationships are being developed at every level of the client organization. This role requires exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skill within a complex – but highly engaged - client environment. The ability to create documentation for a myriad of stakeholders and audiences is a must. We’re also looking for an Implementation Consultant to drive the implementation of high-reliability transformations for our health system clients. Working from the client site and your home office, you’ll work closely with hospital leadership including stakeholders from across several functional areas and particularly with Unit level teams – such as those in the ICU, Internal Medicine, ER – to help them define and execute upon initiatives to improve teamwork, patient safety, and operations. You’ll play a key facilitation role and provide ongoing support to ensure that these Units develop a culture of continuous measurement, learning, and improvement. Requirements for this team member position are: preferred consulting, implementation and change management experience in fast-paced environments; Bachelor or Graduate degree with >5 years of work experience in a healthcare setting; PMP certification preferred but not a must; ability to travel approximately 40-60% of the time, with the balance from home office.
