Dan Cramer

Chief Technology Officer

Dan Cramer has been an engineer in the healthcare technology space for 14 years. He started as a developer working on TheraDoc’s reporting and alerting engine. Dan designed and implemented server applications allowing users to create custom clinical alerts from the HL7 interface. He also created tools to automate the mapping of client terminologies to standardized concepts including the LOINC and SNOMED code systems reducing implementation time in half. 

Dan went on to work at the Veterans Administration as a Terminologist, modeling terminology content for nationwide release and distribution. He analyzed clinical data to produce knowledge models for sharing and storing of terminological data. 

Dan has a BS from BYU in Computer Science and a Graduate Certificate from the University of Utah in Biomedical Informatics. He currently serves as the CTO at Safe & Reliable Healthcare.
