Kathy Ross, MS

Training & Development Manager

Kathy Ross is a passionate and goal oriented professional with over 30 years of experience in management and education, which includes over 20 years in healthcare. She has a proven ability to work with business leaders and managers to identify training and development needs and trends within the business, and to implement process improvement initiatives.

Kathy has an extensive background in leading successful projects and strategic initiatives and derives genuine pleasure from transforming low performing departments into outstanding, high performers. As a performance improvement specialist, Kathy has overseen, managed and coordinated projects and utilized improvement methodologies such as Lean/Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, Visual Management and Process Mappings.

Kathy has a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, both from the University of Central Florida. She is also certified in Lean Six Sigma and Lean Bronze. She has been in Leadership for over 30 years in various industries, including Walt Disney World, YMCA of Central Florida, and a large Healthcare organization.

Along with having a diverse background, Kathy has gained a passion for performance improvement, especially within healthcare settings. She uses her relationship building skills, dynamic teaching ability, and her thirst for improvement to assist units achieve their very best.
