Kristin Patton, MBA

Knowledge & Strategy Portfolio Manager

Kristin Patton is a Knowledge and Strategy Portfolio Manager for Safe & Reliable Healthcare. She works to ensure the organization and management of projects for clients and internal teams run as smooth as possible. Prior to joining Safe & Reliable Healthcare, Kristin primarily worked alongside of executive leadership in project manager roles at Mission Health in Asheville, N.C. the largest healthcare system in Western North Carolina. Mission Health is comprised of six hospitals and 120+ ambulatory sites.

During Kristin’s time at Mission Health, Kristin served as project manager in operations where she was responsible for all projects in the span of control of the Mission Health Chief Operating Officer and Mission Hospital President.

Before her project manager role in operations, Kristin served as quality & safety project manager under the Mission Health Chief Quality Officer and Vice President of Quality & Safety. As PM in quality safety, she led a variety of projects to help improve quality, safety, patient experience, service excellence, continuous improvement and sustainability. Kristin is passionate to help organizations improve quality & safety outcomes and be a part of their journey towards high reliability transformation.  

Kristin began her career in clinical exercise physiology in the oncology, cardiac and pulmonary rehab departments where she found her passion as a patient & family advocate.

Kristin earned her master’s degree in business administration from Western Carolina University and she holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from East Carolina University.
